Chicago Fire Football Club

In-House Brand Design

The Chicago Fire Football Club is a professional soccer team in the Major League Soccer (MLS) division. There, I was part of the creative and content team that supported all the Chicago Fire groups and sub-brands, maintaining, managing, and creating content and design. For matchday, we created and updated reactive graphics to be shared on all social platforms in real time. Chicago Fire was a very unique experience as we, as a team and company, moved into downtown Chicago, all while completing not one, but two historic rebrands - all during my time there.

Projects ranged from print to digital including but not limited to in-match graphic creation, organic and paid social, branding and identity, way-finding, photo correction, illustration, art direction, and content creation.

Organic and Paid Social

Organic and paid social graphics are a staple of sports design where designers get to really flex some creative muscles.

Print Collateral

A staple request of any in-house designer is the ability to produce print-ready pieces and designs.

eMLS Digital Graphics

Digital Graphics

eMLS is a growing niche in sports gaming and we, as a content and design team, helped support the Chicago Fire eMLS gamers. Graphics were created for both digital and print mediums.

Tid Bits and Other Goodies

Smaller projects and one off’s that were not a part of a larger initiative or campaign were always fun and changed up the pace a little.

With the Chicago Fire, creativity was free to roam so during my time there I was really able to tap into and work on some hand illustration.
